Over the past several months, we made the decision to pause availability of the original Hinge Hugger while we focused on making the product better. We’ve been working through design improvements, material selection, tooling updates, and testing to create a stronger and more refined Hinge Hugger.

One of the biggest changes with Gen 2 is bringing production of the Hinge Hugger to the United States. This gives us greater control over manufacturing, materials, quality, and future product improvements.
The purpose of the Hinge Hugger remains the same: to help make reinstalling your Jeep doors easier by helping align the door hinges during installation.
-Gen 2 is being developed for 2007-2025 Jeep -Wrangler JK, JL, and Jeep Gladiator models.

The Hinge Hugger

The idea behind this part came after trying to re-install the doors on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK. The door is heavy and typically takes me a couple tries to align the hinges. Top and bottom. This part will act as a backstop for the hinges on the door. The front can be used to place your trail badges, stickers, or team logos. There is a LH and RH version. And to install, just remove the doors and slide onto the Jeep hinges. We are now offering a hyrdro-dipped Hinge Hugger in select designs.
